Dr. Likee’s Announcement on Quitting Comedy Skits.
Dr. Likee, a prominent figure in the Kumawood movie industry and a popular comedian known for his engaging YouTube skits, has recently hinted at his potential exit from acting.
He expressed his frustrations regarding false accusations and negative remarks directed towards him, which have contributed to his decision.
In a candid statement, he mentioned, “Two weeks after I return to Ghana, I won’t do it again. I will not act, nor will I produce movies again.”
Dr. Likee highlighted the demanding nature of his work, noting that he often works long hours, from 6 AM to 6 PM, which has taken a toll on him. This intense schedule, combined with the pressures of public scrutiny, has led him to reconsider his future in the entertainment industry.
Also, he revealed that some of his crew members have been talking negatively behind him, to the extent of insulting his mother and family. This triggered the famous actor to take the hard decision of quitting acting. However, he added that, if he should continue acting, it would favour his little boys, Aboske and Company.
