Felix Owusu-Adjapong, the former Member of Parliament for Akim Swedru, has passed away at the age of 79. The news of his demise was officially announced on October 4, 2023, by Majority Chief Whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh.

Felix Kwasi Owusu-Adjapong was a highly respected and influential figure in Ghanaian politics, having served as a dedicated Member of Parliament for several terms. His political journey began in the 1996 Ghanaian general elections, when he was elected to represent Akyem Swedru in parliament.

With the trust and support of his constituents, Felix was re-elected in the 2000 Ghanaian general elections, solidifying his position as a committed public servant.

Throughout his illustrious career, he held several key ministerial roles, including Minister for Transport and Communications in 2001 and Minister of Parliamentary Affairs in 2003.

In the 2004 Ghanaian general elections, Felix triumphantly secured another term as a Member of Parliament, earning the trust and admiration of the people once again.
