In a dramatic turn of events, heavily armed police and individuals suspected to be National Security operatives have surrounded the residence of the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, commonly known as Chairman Wontumi.
Eyewitness accounts and a viral video circulating online indicate that the security personnel arrived in multiple vehicles earlier today, effectively cordoning off the area surrounding Chairman Wontumi’s private home in Kumasi.
