Physically challenged man in serious trouble for duping a popular Ghanaian journalist.
A physically challenged man only known as Attah has defrauded Piesie Lardi, a well-known Oyerepa TV and Radio News anchor.
The disabled man, who appeared on Oyerepa Afutuo’s show on Friday, claimed that his pastor had cheated him out of GHC 3,000.
During the program, journalist Piesie Lardi called Auntie Naa and admitted that Attah had cheated her 12 years back.
Piesie Lardi claims that in order to construct her home, she paid GHC 3,000 for a plot of land in 2011.
The well-known journalist recalled that after purchasing three loads of sand and stones to begin building the house, a third party entered the scene and claimed ownership of the property.
Piesie disclosed that, she tried many times to retrieve her money from Attah but he declined her approach. “Atta has cheated a lot of people.
He sold a stolen plot of land to me in 2011 at a cost of GHC3000. When I went there, a woman came to me and claimed that the land belonged to her, and I eventually lost the land. Atta has refused to refund my money since 2011.”
However, Attah admitted to defrauding the Oyerepa staff and begged Auntie Naa, the show’s host, to request a rebate for Piesie Lardis’ money on his behalf.
Attah is reportedly facing legal action for his purposeful and scandalous act despite his plea.
