The final funeral rites of late Black Stars midfielder Christian Atsu are currently ongoing at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
The place has been flooded by dignitaries who have come to pay their condolences to the former Ghanaian international.
The former president John Dramani Mahama, the honorable Kennedy Agyapong of Assin Central, the honorable Lydia Alhassan of Ayawaso West Wuogon, and the honorable Kofi Adams of Buem have all been sighted at the ceremony thus far.
Sulley Ali Muntari, John Painstil, Prince Tagoe, Samuel Osei Kuffour nicknamed Tugah, Black Stars coach Chris Hughton, Michael Essien’s wife Akosua Puni, and several more former Black Star athletes are also there.
