Ghana Police release photos of six suspects in the murder of Ghanaian soldier, Imoro Sherrif.
The Ghana Police Service has released images of six people detained in connection with the stabbing death of Imoro Sherrif, a 22-year-old soldier in Ashaiman.
In a statement issued late Sunday night, authorities reiterated prior assertions that the soldier was slain because he was chasing a woman.
According to police, early investigations have determined that the crime was a failed robbery.
According to police, the criminals attempted to steal Sherrif of his phone, but the military man fought, resulting in his death by stabbing him.
So far, suspects arrested in connection with the murder have been named as Safianu Musah alias Dayorgu, Ibrahim Abdul Rakib, Samuel Tetteh aka Wiper, Abubakar Sadick aka Birdman, Yussif Mohammed, and Abdul Gafaru Abdul Karim, according to the statement.
