Daddy Lumba visits IGP Dampare amidst beef with gospel musician Great Ampong.
Daddy Lumba, a multiple award-winning musician and highlife legend born Charles Kwadwo Fosu, paid a personal visit to the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, at his office in Accra earlier today.
This appears to be the musician’s first visit to the headquarters since Dr. Dampare’s appointment.
According to Lumba’s PRO, the artist and IGP Dampare discussed how he could join forces with the service, using his power to promote peace while highlighting the Police’s tremendous job.
Yesterday, Great Ampong released a new song dubbed ‘Onyame Akatua’, and prior to its release he emphatically stated that it was a diss song for Daddy Lumba.
Well, netizens claim the highlife legend had to visit the IGP following his beef with Great Ampong stating that Ampong’s diss song “Onyame Akatua” is very hard for him to swallow the lyrics.
Social media users who have come across the photos have hilariously remarked that Lumba went to report Great Ampong to the IGP for him to get arrested for dissing him.
He later made a sharp U-turn and said the song is no longer a diss song for Daddy Lumba.
