Man beats his 3-year-old daughter to death for allegedly entering neighbour’s room.
The police have arrested Godsgift Uweghwerhen, 25, for reportedly beating his three-year-old daughter to death in Aladja community, Udu Local Government Area, Delta State.
The child, who had been sick for some time, was flogged by her father for breaking into a neighbor’s apartment.
Uweghwerhen allegedly fled the scene after realizing his child had died as a result of the beating.
He was captured by a vigilante team in the Ubogo community, who then handed him over to Nigeria Police officers in the Ovwian/Aladja Division.
Bright Edafe, Delta State Command’s Public Relations Officer, confirmed the event.
