Popular Nigerian Fraudster, Ramon Abass, widely known as Hushpuppi has been sentenced to eleven years in jail after two years of his initial arrest.
The United States Central District Court in California, hearing the case, found him guilty of fraud and money laundering.
Hushpuppi was sentenced to eleven (11) years in prison, two of which he had already served since his arrest.
He was arrested in June 2020 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, after an extensive investigation and monitoring by numerous law enforcement authorities.
He was involved in a large-scale fraud scam that defrauded victims in the United States, Qatar, the United Kingdom, and other countries.
