Well, it appears that Ghanaians have no choice but to return to choosing what is beneficial for survival amid these economic hardships.
After sachet and bottle water prices increased, some Ghanaians returned to chilled pipe water, often known as “Payin de Payin.”
Ghanaians used to sell pipe water tied in clear rubbers, but people progressively shifted away from the local water’ice water and toward purchasing sachets of water.

According to a statement released by the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the National Association of Sachet and Packaged Water Producers (NASPAWAP), the prices of sachet water have increased due to the rising cost of fuel and the cedi’s depreciation, which has affected the business by 45% within 7 days.
