Ex-President John Dramani Mahama and National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer praised individuals who are addicted to eating the popular local food ‘Gob3’.
Following the country’s economic hardships, Mahama opted to talk to the nation about the country’s issues.
Myclue.net spotted a segment of his address to the nation, which has gone viral and netizens can’t stop talking about, in which he made reference of the Gob3 eaters in the country, naming such eaters the “Gob3 Eaters Association.”
He continued to appreciate and applaud them for sticking to local foods during these difficult economic times. According to Mahama, these “Gob3 Eaters” aid in the reduction of foreign exchange and the promotion of indigenous foods.
Some Ghanaians supported his remark because it helps minimize the country’s reliance on foreign foods.
