As a result of the Quality Assurance and other validation processes undertaken by the Controller and Accountant General Department CAGD, the payment of September 2022 salaries to some employees whose bank names are mismatched on the GoG payroll system, as well as others who had invalid bank account numbers on the system, has been suspended.

According to CAGD, workers whose bank names do not match should arrange for the employee to report to the Payroll fsrUnit of CAGD at block “A” room 32 with the below-mentioned documents and a cover letter from MDA verifying their attendance.

  • Appointment letter 
  • Current posting letter
  • National Identification Card (Ghana Card)
  • Pay-slips for the last three (3) month
  • A voided cheque leaflet of their bank account

Employees with invalid bank account number are supposed to submit their correct bank account numbers to the PPSs for updates.

The release signed by the head of Payroll Processing Directorate for CAGD, Angele Peasah (Mrs) entreats all victims to treat this as urgent.
