On Friday, September 2, 2022, a fire broke out at the private residence of the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor.

The incident is said to have happened at Adjiringanor around 11:30 a.m.

Smoke was seen coming from the roof of the house in a video obtained by JoyNews.

The video also showed Fire Service personnel on the scene, attempting to extinguish the fire.

While the cause of the fire is unknown, available information suggests that only one room was destroyed and again, no casualties were reported.

Meanwhile, Mr. Jinapor is in Perth, Western Australia, for the largest African-focused mining conference.
