The government has released GH57 million for feeding and allowances to educational institutions.

The government has released GH57,460,000 in feeding grants and student allowances for Ghana’s 46 colleges of education through the Ministry of Education.

Following some concern about the non-payment of allowances to schools, the Ministry of Education stated in a statement that it was committed to improving and sustaining quality education.

“Through the Ministry of Education, the Government of Ghana has released an amount of GH57,460.000.00 to cover feeding grants and student allowances to Ghana’s 46 colleges of education.”

“The Ministry hereby reiterates its commitment to adequately resource and collaborate with all institutions under its purview in the quest to improve and sustain quality education in Ghana,” according to the statement.
