The Controller and Accountant General Department has made the salary payslip for June 2022 available (CAGD). Checks on the payslip revealed that there were incorrect deductions for GNAT members and dues increases for NAGRAT members.
Members of GNAT
Members of the aforementioned teacher union can inquire about wrongful deductions for the month of June. You will see a deduction of GNAT dues arrears after clicking wrongful deductions. GNAT has deducted 16.92 cedis from the salaries of some teachers.
GNAT cancer fund arrears are also displayed. The fund now stands at 5cedis.
Members of NAGRAT
The NAGRAT dues increase is visible to teachers in the above union. Dues have been increased by 33.86 – 37.58 cedis.
Several teachers have complained on social media about their dues being raised without their knowledge.
The various teachers have yet to receive bank alerts as of June 28th, 2022. Many teachers may confirm the foregoing after receiving their paychecks. Remember to connect your Ghana Card to your bank account before July 1st, 2022.
