The father of a Rastafarian student who was denied entrance to the Achimota School because of his dreadlocks claims that his son has been disobedient recently and that his son recently fought and assaulted him, slashing his hand.
Tereo Marghuy accused his son, Tyron Marghuy, of attacking him in a video he posted on social media, saying Tyron Marghuy cut his hand during the attack.
He claimed that even before the Achimota case, “he [Tyron] was so arrogant that I wasn’t even willing to accompany him anyplace,” adding, “I went to the court with him and defended him solely for the sake of humanity, for the sake of Rasta; if it hadn’t been for this youngster, I wouldn’t have gone.”
